Kindegarten and First grade:
We will begin the year talking about filling buckets with kind thoughts and
actions. Carol McClouds book " Have you filled a bucket today?" will be our
tool to launch the bucket filling theme. We will discuss what it is to be a
filler and what dipping into someone's bucket may mean.
Look for the bucket filling bulletin board in your school.
Grades 2,3,4
Will focus on the Golden Rule and the Sylvan Pledge. We will discuss the
meaning of the pledge and how what we do impacts our school and community.
Grade 5 School Leadership
What does that mean? What is my responsibility as a school leader?
All classrooms will move quickly into tools for building new friendships.
