Fictional Book Reports:
For the first quarter all 2nd graders will: *Read a fictional book, of their choice, and at their own reading level. *The children will construct a project to share with the class to accompany their report. The children were given a list of "Two Hundred Ways to Make a Book Report." *Each student will give an oral summary of his/her book. The oral summary should include a beginning, middle, and end of the story. The oral report does not have to be written. Children are encouraged to jot notes to themselves on index cards to be referred to on the day of the report. *Please bring the book to school on the book report due date. 1st Quarter Book Reports are due on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
