My name is Jan Sutter and this is my 33rd year as a teacher. I am very
excited to be teaching kindergarten again! I was born and raised in Toledo
and attended high school at St. Ursula Academy. I received both my Bachelor
and Master of Education degrees at the University of Toledo.
I have been married for 33 years to Mark and we have three children; Noah,
Corey and Hannah. Most importantly, I have 5 grandkids!!! They are Jonah -
6, Logan – 5, Ryan – 4, Molly - 1 and Ellie - 1. The
grandboys keep me up to date on the most current toys and TV shows!
I love to swim, walk, read, sing and create things. I love to watch movies
with my family. I think that’s why my daughter, Hannah, hopes to become a
screen writer or work in film. She graduated in May from Miami
University and is working in LA as a production intern.
Teaching kindergarten is the hardest thing I have done over the years but
it's also the most rewarding. There’s a lot of growth in the year of a
kindergartener and I love being a part of it. I want to be the best teacher
I can be for your child and her/his classmates and will always try to do
my best.
