The TCTC Junior ROTC instructors have over 40 years of military experience.
Both Master Sergeant (MSgt) Kelley Kibbey and Lieutenant Colonel (Lt
Col) John Miller retired from the active duty Air Force.
MSgt Kibbey's last assignment was as Weapons Flight Chief, 4th Fighter
Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, Utah.
Lt Col Miller's last assignment was as Professor of Aerospace Studies and
Commander of Air Force ROTC Detachment 665 at the University of Cincinnati,
Cincinnati, Ohio.
MSgt Kibbey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics
and Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach,
Florida and an Associate of Applied Science degrees in Aircraft Armament and
Personnel Administration from the Community College of the Air Force;
and Lt Col Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from
the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource
Management and Development from Chapman University. Additionally, both
instructors have completed numerous military training and development
courses and are pursuing education certifications and degrees through Kent
State University.
MSgt Kibbey and Lt Col Miller hold Ohio Department of Education licenses for
career technical education and are employees of TCTC not the Air Force,
although they do proudly wear the Air Force uniform while serving as
Aerospace Science Instructors for the Air Force JROTC program.
