I graduated in 1991 from YSU with my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education/
Mathematics. I have been teaching math at the TCTC since 1993. I again
graduated from YSU in 1997 when I received my Masters Degree in Mathematics.
I gained my National Board Certification in Adolescent & Young Adult
Mathematics in 2008. I continue to take classes and go to professional
development sessions to continuously improve my teaching. I recently have
been a part of a team of Educators working with the Ohio Department of
Education looking at the new state standards in Mathematics. I am always
striving to learn more to become the best teacher that I can be.
