Dear Parents,
The beginning of the school year is always filled with anticipation. The
library staff, together with the teachers and principal, are here to help
your student succeed. Please stop in and visit the library anytime you are at
school.
Our school library mission is to help every student develop a love of
reading, to become a skilled user of ideas and information and to explore the
world through print and electronic media. In addition to the books and
materials in the library, your student will also learn how to use INFOhio,
and Discovery portal, a virtual library. INFOhio is a collection of
commercial databases and
other resources that can be accessed free by Ohio teachers, students and
their parents via the Internet. You can use INFOhio (www.infohio.org) from
your home computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or you can logon to INFOhio
at any public library. Yes, state taxes provide INFOhio free to all
elementary and secondary school students and their parents across the state.
INFOhio can help your child achieve in school by providing:
* Reliable and up-to-date resources on many subjects for all age group
* Large, organized collections of maps, pictures, charts
* Homework help

Please see Mrs. DiTommaso in the library for these logins, and other useful
