During our exploration of light we discovered that light travels in a straight line. We learned about reflection, refraction, and shadows. We completed a challenge on the internet with Alien Attack which proved we know our stuff!
During our Technology unit with inventions, we discovered what it would be like to be a Toy Tester. We worked in the Science Lab and tested toys for the fun factor and safety factor. THEN we were challenged to create a new toy or improve an existing toy!

Our Edible Landforms were a hit! We used graham crackers for plains, licorice for rivers, hershey kisses for mountains, gumdrops for hills or plateaus, blue fruit rollups for lakes, ritz bitz crackers for canyons that created valleys and smarties for islands!
COSI on wheels visited our school and we got an introduction to Ohio's natural habitats of lakes, grasslands, wetlands, and forests. We learned how animals thrive in Ohio and how we can help them continue to do so!
