Mr. Loeffler's TeacherWeb

Mr. Loeffler is a graduate of Cascia Hall and holds two degrees from Northeastern State University: the Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in humanities and the Master of Arts in English with a concentration in literature and additional courses in composition and rhetoric. He is currently taking graduate courses at NSU in school administration. Before returning to Cascia as a member of the faculty in 2006, he taught at the summer programs of Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth, worked in student affairs at Villanova University and Oklahoma State University, and served as a teaching assistant at NSU. He is certified by the State of Oklahoma to teach English, journalism, speech, and debate in the 6th through 12th grades, and he currently teaches American Experience, Old Testament, and Journalism at Cascia. Additionally, he advises the student newspaper. He is a member of the Modern Language Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, the Journalism Education Association, and Sigma Tau Delta (the international English honor society) and has presented his research at the Sigma Tau Delta International Conference and the National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
