Will volunteer teach/coordinate part of the Outdoor Classroom portion of
this class this year. I am on union leave from the disrict as I am a full
time field representitive with the American Federation of Teachers which
holds the contact with the OKC Schools. This is a full time job.
B.S. Geology from Oklahoma State (Awarded a Mesa Petroleum Scholarship from
Boone T. Pickens as an undergraduate)
B.A. History from Valparaiso University. Graduated with Senior Honors
Science teacher at Classen SAS last eleven years plus
Science teacher at Roosevelt Middle School for three years plus
Oil and gas geologist for ten years plus in Oklahoma City
Profesional YMCA Director with OKC for almost 7 years with Metro OKC YMCA at
the Northside and Edmond Branches.
Active in Boy Scouts and Y Princesses. Amateur naturalist.
Children have graduated from Kansas, Johns Hopkins, Penn Law, UC0 and OSU.
One has an MIS/Accounting degee.
One is a U.S. Attorney in New York City.
Another at U.of Maryland working on Phd in Geography.
And most germane to the readers of this page; one will improve the teaching
of science at Classen SAS.
Youngest is at Casady in 12th grade despite my efforts to convince his Mom
to upgrade to Classen.
Wife Pam teaches vocal music at Arthur and Rancho Village in OKC. Talented
and pretty which contrasts with moi.
