Hi! My name is Marianne Austin, and I am so excited to teach your children
this year. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in
elementary education. This is my sixth year at Deer Creek Elementary. Before
teaching here, I taught math at the Advanced Science and Technology
Education Center (ASTEC) Charter School in Oklahoma City.
I am married to Caleb who is a civil engineer for the Oklahoma Department of
Transportation. I am a proud "mom" of two wonderful dogs, Buddy
and Gus. I grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and always knew that I wanted to
someday be a teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, reading, and
watching college sports. I especially enjoy cheering on the Oklahoma State
Cowboys! Go Pokes!!
My husband and I had our first child, Henry, about three years ago. We also
have a baby girl named Elizabeth. She turns one in September. They are our
pride and joy!! I love to talk about them, so feel free to ask! They do the
cutest things, and I'd love to tell you about them!!!
I love teaching, and I am thrilled to be spending my days with such bright
