Welcome to Fourth Grade! My name is DeAnni Tate and I am so excited to be a
part of Deer Creek Elementary. I will be teaching Reading, Social Studies and one class
of writing this year. I can’t wait to meet all of my wonderful fourth grade students!
I was born in Red Bay, Alabama and lived there until I was in college. I
graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science in
Elementary Education. I have taught Pre-K, first, second, fourth and fifth
grades.
My husband is a pilot in the Air Force. We have two children who also attend
Deer Creek Schools. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy walking and
spending time with my family.
I look forward to getting to know my students and their families as well! It
is going to be a wonderful and exciting year in Fourth Grade at Deer Creek
Elementary!
