Welcome!
As many of you know, I have taken over Mrs. McCready's class mid-year.
This is my first year at Deer Creek and I am extremely excited to be working
at such a prestigious school. Although I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and
lived for a couple of years in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, I have lived in Oklahoma
since 1993. I graduated in May of 2007 from The University of Oklahoma with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with a focus in Language Arts.
I am currently working on my Master of Education degree in Language Arts
at the University of Oklahoma as well.
In college I stayed active with soccer and rowing, but also won awards such
as Who's Who Among American University Students. I was Vice President of the
Association of Disabled Students and on the Alpha Chi Omega disciplinary
board.
I am now engaged to the love of my life,Micah,who graduated from Oklahoma
State University with a degree in Accounting. He and I are always brawling
when it comes to Bedlam, regardless of what sport it is. Our wedding is
planned for December 15th, 2012, and we are both so excited! In my free time,
when I have free time, I enjoy working out, playing soccer, watching sports,
shopping,playing the piano, and singing.
