This is my sixth year teaching overall, and my fifth year teaching at Deer
Creek Middle School. I, without a doubt, believe that I teach at a great
school. In addition to my teaching, I also started a middle school pole
vaulting program at DCMS 4 years ago, and am excited to continue that program
with a high school program that started last year.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 with a bachelors degree
in Social Studies Education and a minor in health exercise science. I am
currently pursuing a masters in Secondary Education at the University of
Central Oklahoma. I will graduate with my masters degree during the 2011-
2012 school year once I finish my thesis. In
my spare
time, I love to run, play the guitar, rock climb, and hang out with my
family and friends.
My Mission for my students is for them to not only learn geography and civics
information, but for my students to learn life skills that they will carry on
into their futures.
