First of all, I absolutely love teaching sixth grade science! This is my
fourth year at DCMS. Before I came to Deer Creek, I taught Outdoor
Education to fifth and sixth graders at YMCA Camp Grady Spruce in Texas. I
graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science.
My degree is specialized in teaching middle school science!
When I'm not at school, I enjoy camping and riding bikes with my husband.
We have a dog named Trixie that we like taking for walks, and we have a very
fluffy pet guinea pig named Jeep. I like to travel as well and was lucky
enough to visit New York and Canada this summer.
I am looking forward to meeting each of you! We are going to have a great
year! Science Rocks!
