Feb. 6 - 10th
We are approaching the end of the school year. Please make sure your student
has plenty of pencils. We are having a problem with students coming with
nothing to write with. I give "0's" for this behavior, because it is the
only item that I require students to bring to class. I provide everything
else. It is completely irresponsible for any student to come to a writing
class without a pencil.
Please study for spelling or vocab tests every Tuesday. It is the only
homework students will have, with the exception of work that is not completed
in class or a requirement to bring something from home. The portion of the
test over the National Geographic is also given on Tuesdays.
If something from home is requested, I will try to give them ample
opportunity (several nights) to do so.
Please make sure you do not schedule appointments for your child on Tuesday's.
That is our test day every week, and make up tests are very difficult to
schedule.
