CAFE is an acronym which stands for -
Comprehension - I understand what I read
Accuracy - I can read the words
Fluency - I can read accurately, with
expression and understand what I read
Expanding Vocabulary - I know, find and
use interesting words
During the school year, students will work
on developing a variety of strategies to improve all these skills. The
strategies we are working on will be posted in our classroom on our CAFE Menu
Board so feel free to come by and see what we are working on today!
