  Dear Parents/Guardians,
  
  Spelling Bee is Monday, December 7th.
• If you would like to chaperone our field trip to Chisholm Trail Museum, please call the office so we can have a head count.  Your cost of admission is $4.00 per adult.  Students and adults should have a sack lunch and a drink.  We will leave the school at 9:00 AM.
• In Social Studies, we will be working on using reference materials.  We will develop skills for finding information in our texts.  I have found that these skills are somewhat weak in our students...This is something that will be much improved over the next two weeks.
• Instead of Reading Centers this week, we will work towards writing skills for the Writing Test that is scheduled for the last week of January. 
• This week is Lesson 14 for Reading, Spelling, and Language Arts.  Remember that your child can practice the Spelling words on www.spellingcity.com.
