Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents. 5th Grade Homework Policy ********************************************** *We do not NORMALLY assign work over the weekend. ***Homework is due the next day after it is assigned.*** Any assignment not finished in class is considered homework! If a child does not have the opportunity to finish homework at home, he/she will be given the opportunity to finish it during recess of the day it is due. *Late work will not be given the same credit on-time assignments are given. *Make-up work will not be considered late unless it is turned in after the assigned time. *Students will be given one day to work on make-up work for every day missed. For example, if Johnny is absent on Wednesday but returns on Thursday, he will be allowed to turn in the work on Friday.
