At the beginning of fourth grade year we always seem to have a great deal
of "redo" papers. When an assignment's grade is less than 70% a student is
allowed to redo the paper. These will usually be in the Monday folder, but
sometimes I have students redo them before they come home if I feel they need
extra help. They must be turned in within that same week.
I rarely assign written homework, because I expect each student to read a
book and work on multiplication facts every night.
Please read at least twenty minutes every night. It is a good idea to keep
one book at school and one book at home.
Any work not completed in class is homework that will be due for the next
day. If your child is bringing home a great deal of written work please let
met know. We need to talk.
Always work on multiplication facts. Students think they know them, but when
I review them.......well, oops.
