I was raised mainly in Southeastern Oklahoma. I have one biological son and
two wonderful step-sons at home. My husband is an amazingly wonderful and
loving (SOMETIMES VERY FRUSTRATING) man. We have a very blended family. I
only mention the step thing because it's confusing to strangers. I was raised
to believe that the people you love are your family. Like Garth Brooks sings
in his song, "Blood is thicker than water, oh but love is thicker than
blood." I truly believe that.
I care about my students. Some think that I am strict and others think that I
am fun. I like to think that I am a good blend of both. I try to be. Everyone
needs laughter, love, structure, and a good education in their lives. I treat
my students as if they were my own children.
