This will be my seventh year at Mustang High School, but I have been teaching
twenty-six of the last thirty-six years. I also serve as one of the Senior
class sponsors. I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University. I spent eleven
years as an eighth grade English teacher at Mustang North Middle School. I
have
also taught intensive English as a Second Language at the university level.
For
twenty-five years I have been a resident of the Mustang School district. My
three daughters are graduates of Mustang High School, so my history here is
quite extensive. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!
Helping students to communicate their ideas, exposing them to classic
English literature, and preparing them for college writing are my main
objectives. With the new Common Core curriculum, we will be writing and
expressing ideas across the curriculum, compiling ideas learned in multiple
classes.
