AR requirement for 8th grade: 3 books OR 450 pages every nine weeks. If the book is AR, you take the test. If the book is not AR, you write a report summary on the book and turn it in to me with a parent/guardian signature. Books or pages read over the required amount will count as bonus. Once you meet the requirement, continue to take AR tests if your book is AR. If the book is not AR, you may fill out a short bonus form instead of writing a report. Honors Literature: 600 pages per nine weeks. No AR tests or written reports. Automatically clean input to optimize for the web.
