About the Media Director and the Media Assistant

Mrs. Ackerman has been with Mustang Creek since it opened in 1994.  She has 
been married for 37 years and has two grown sons.  Mike is a pilot for 
American Eagle out of Dallas and is married to Michelle.  Mark lives in 
Arkansas and works in the computer department of corporate Wal*Mart.  Mark 
is engaged to Shannan and has a little Yorkie named Maddie and a baby yellow 
lab named Bentley.

Mrs. Ackerman is an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  She sings 
in the adult choir, plays handbells, and organizes and catalogs the choir 
music. She also works with the Angel Food Ministry.

When Mrs. Ackerman is not at school or church, she loves to curl up in a big 
stuffed chair to read and knit.


Mrs. Hess became the Media Assistant in the 2005-2006 school year.  Mrs. 
Hess has been married to Don Hess for ten years.  They live in Yukon.  She 
taught school at Mustang Elementary for 32 years.  She has two children, 
four step-children, seventeen grandchildren, and one great-grandson.   Mrs. 
Hess plays the organ at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church where she is also 
active in the choir.  She is also a member of the Singing Churchwomen of 
Oklahoma, a group of 400 women who sing in churches across Oklahoma.  

Her favorite thing to do in the summer is to work in the yard to keep things 
looking beautiful.

Objectives of the Media Center

Our main objective is to put the right books in our students' hands and 
resources in our teachers' hands.
