I love teaching and this will be my 21st year in the classroom. I began my
teaching career in my hometown of Borger, Texas in 1983. I taught
kindergarten there for four years and transitional first for three years
before moving to Oklahoma. I taught first grade in Mustang for four years
before moving into my present position as Transitional First grade teacher.
I am married and my husband, Kline, works for Advanced Fire Protection. He
installs industrial fire sprinkler systems. We have two children, Lindsey
and Clint.
I love spending time with my family. We enjoy skiing, fishing, and playing
board games. Lindsey and I enjoy shopping and scrapbooking. In my spare
time I enjoy reading and working on various arts and crafts projects.
Teaching is my calling. I love being in the classroom, interacting with
children, and being the facilitator in the learning process. The rewards
are many and I truly feel blessed to be in the teaching profession.
My mission is for each child to reach their highest potential and be
prepared for a successful year in first grade.
