Hi!
My name is Julie Chastain and I teach third grade at Mustang Creek.
This is my tenth year to teach third grade and I love the students and
staff at Creek. I feel it is my privilege to be a part of the educational
program here and part of your child's life. Together I know we will
make a great team and this will be a successful and rewarding year for
your child.
I have 2 daughters who are 17 and 19 years old. I graduated from high
school in a small town in western Oklahoma and received my BS in Education
from the University of Central Oklahoma (then known as CSU). I spent 3 years
teaching kindergarten in Texas and also taught in a private christian school
here in Oklahoma. The place I love the most, though, is MUSTANG CREEK!! We
have great students, parents, and very caring teachers. What a great
program!!

We are a special and unique third grade family. We will be heart healers and
not heart breakers. Our words and our actions will be positive and kind.
Our class will show perseverance by doing its best and never giving up.
Whatever we do we will work at it with all our hearts-and encourage those
around us to do the same.
We will show integrity in our lives by Doing What Is Right...Because It Is
The Right Thing To Do. We are amazing, incredible, and loved. We are third
graders today, leaders of tomorrow, and INCREDIBLE every day of our lives.
