Homework Expectations:
To read 20 minutes each night. (Read 2 minutes aloud to someone.) Goals are at
least 5 books per nine weeks with a 80% or higher score. But after earning
10 points they will get a reward.
Using your spelling notebook complete homework each night.

30 points by Friday of each week to be completed in spelling notebook. List
is stapled to front of Spelling Notebook. (Red)
Memorize the math facts (see the classroom docoments page for a downloadable
math facts tri-flashcards for use at home). The District has changed the
timed limit on the addition test to 50 problems in 3 minutes and for
subtraction 50 problems in 4 minutes both will be at 80%. Which means they
will only get to miss 10. Then study on doubles and all ways to make ten,
fact families.
Then if they have any unfinished work from the day that should be also
homework.

Don't forget to have a book to read if you wait in the gym before school or
