***As a general rule, only schoolwork that is not completed in class is
considered homework for the night. On occasion, reading of a.r. books or
test reviews will be necessary to do on some weeknights. You can check
out what your child has for homework by looking at his/her agenda for
the day. Assignments that are circled are considered homework, and
assignments that are initialed off by Mrs. Palesano have been turned in
for the day.

***Each nine weeks the students are required to read five chapter books for
their reading goals this year. The books must be chapter books that are
found in the fiction section of the library.
***We are currently studying the Southeast region of our states and capitals.
Please have your child use maps to locate and label the states and capitals
of this region. We will have a test over this region on Friday, Oct. 2nd.
***Practice, practice, practice those multiplication facts. Use flash cards
games on our class links website, and any other methods to help you learn
your facts.
