Spelling will be assessed each Friday through either a writing activity or
teacher dictated sentences. Because in my class we are not focused on
memorizing words for just one week but actually committing to correct
spelling in all writing, high frequency words, spelling rules, and word
samples will be displayed and encouraged to be used on all writing practice
and assessments.
Home connection activities are due on Fridays and are extra credit towards
weekly spelling assessments.
