What can I do at home to help my child?
There are many free online tutorials available to help. Students are so busy multi-tasking these days with their cell phones right beside them that their attention is constantly interrupted. Make a deal for them to study without the phone for a set time period each night to allow them to absorb more of the information.Ask your child to teach you what they are doing in class. If he or she cannot teach you, then they need more practice. Teaching someone else how to do something really helps make that new knowledge stick.Encourage students to use the website for the textbook to take practice quizzes. This will help them realize where their strengths and weaknesses are before the test.Back to Top
