About The Teacher

Hi!

I know that many of you are curious about me outside the classroom, so here
is a little trivia info for you! Mr. Jackson and I have been married for
nine years. Aubrey is our oh-so-amazing little girl. She turns two on
September 14. We have three precious miniature schnauzers; Lacey is eight,
and Duke and Harley are her fiveyear old puppies.
This is my seventh year to teach fifth grade at Mustang Valley. I
received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The University
of Central Oklahoma in December of 2003. After I graduated, I spent about a
year and a half as the Kids Pastor at a church in Norman.
As you have probably already figured out, coffee is my passion. Not
really, but I sure love it a lot! I also love Mexican food, Starbucks,
Orange Leaf, cherry limeades, and hazelnut iced coffee. In my nonexistent
spare time, I love to play with my little girl (more than anything!), watch
TV and movies, read, walk my dogs, and play at the lake.

Mission Statement

My personal mission for education: I purpose to provide the best education
possible in a safe, cohesive, cooperative, family-like classroom
environment. I seek to meet the needs of each individual child, and treat
them with respect.
