Students are NOT allowed to carry any medication (even Tylenol and aspirin) on their person. Any student needing to take medicine while at school must fill out the proper paperwork in Mrs. East's office. Medication must be in its original container with written authorization from the student's parent or guardian identifying the student, type of medication, and directions for administering the medicine.
Students ARE allowed to carry inhalers with them, but proper paperwork must be on file in Mrs. East's office.
If you have any questions for the School Nurse, please contact Susie Killingsworth at 273.6794 or email her at skillingsworth@shawnee.k12.ok.us.
