Schedules for the 2011-2012 school year will be available beginning Monday, August 8th. Below are the times that students may pick up their schedules:
Seniors - Monday, August 8th (8 AM - 12 noon)
Juniors - Monday, August 8th (1 PM - 3 PM)
Sophomores - Tuesday, August 9th (8 AM - 12 noon)
Freshmen - schedules will be distributed during Freshman Orientation
Students should have completed pre-enrollment forms (both online and paper) last spring. Over the summer, classes are assigned by a computer-generated program.
Schedule changes can be made for the following reasons:
1. The student pre-enrolled in the wrong class (a class for which he/she has already received credit or a class in which he/she does not met the prerequisites).
2. The student not performing at a C level or above in an advanced class and needs to be moved to a regular class in the same subject based on teacher recommendation.
3. The student failed to complete summer assignments for advanced classes.
4. Enrollment numbers are too low or too high in a particular class. A class may be dissolved if there are not enough students to fill it and a class may be split if there are too many students. The State Department of Education limits the number of students each teacher can accommodate each day.
Schedule changes will NOT be made for:
1. A lunch preference.
2. A request for a particular teacher.
3. Students who did not return their pre-enrollment forms and therefore were not enrolled in their preferred electives.
