Oklahoma Heritage Scholarship:

Deadline: Feb. 17, 2012
Each year, the Oklahoma Heritage Association offers more than $650,000 in
scholarships to high school students who have paid attention in their Oklahoma
history classes. In the Oklahoma Heritage Scholarship Competition, ninth
through 12th grade students take a test on Oklahoma history. Those with high
scores in each county receive a $1,000 cash scholarship or tuition grant to an
Oklahoma college or university. Most counties have at least three scholarships

Oklahoma Heritage Scholarship

USDA Minority Scholarship:

This scholarship is looking for minority students with a minimum ACT of 21. 
It is a partnership between the USDA and eighteen 1890 Historically Black
Land-Grant Universities.  It is available to graduating seniors interested in
attending Langston University (Oklahoma) or one of the other 18 Historically
Black Land-Grant Universities and pursuing a degree in Agriculture,
Agribusiness, Agricultural engineering/mechanics, animal sciences, botany,
forestry, home economics/nutrition, soil conservation or related area.  See

Feb. 1st, 2013.
