Throughout the year we will read: To Kill a Mockingbird, Out of the Dust,
Old Man and the Sea, The Pearl, and Call of the Wild. My 8th graders will
have book/story reviews due approximately each month.
The first will be on a nonfiction short story due on September 23.
The second will be a drama review due on November 4.
The next review is on Tall Tales and it is due December 16.
The next review is a Folk Tale and it is due February 10.
The final review will be a report on a Classic of choice due May 11.
