September 29th is the feast of the Archangels, Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. These are God's messengers, who reassure use so that we are not afraid. They announce that God is present among us, and give us joy!
The first prayer that we are learning in the Early Childhood Classes is the "Guardian Angel" prayer.

Entrust me here.
Ever this day
Be at my side
To light
To guard
To rule
To guide.
