Dear Parents,
Up coming dates to remember:

• Apr. 28th—AR Trip for grades K5-4th
• May 1—Talent Show (time TBA)
• May 8—Sports Awards
• May 12—Big Screen Ticket sales ends
• May 15—Field Day
• May 21—Last Day of School
I am sending Friday Folders home again as I have nearly caught up
with all the grading. There will be too much for the folders and for you to
go over with your child if I wait till Friday. I will send the folders home
again on Friday.
PLEASE work on selling the tickets for the big screen T.V. The
proceeds from this fundraiser go towards the memorial project for Mrs. Novak.
Ticket sales end May 12th.
These last few weeks of school are filled with many activities. It is
important the children remember that they are still in school and to stay
focused. Please continue to encourage your child to do their best.
Weekly Information:
• Spelling Lesson29: List on back.
• Sight Words: List on back.
• Word of the week: Accountability—an obligation or willingness to
accept responsibility for one’s actions
• Math: Please drill both addition and subtraction facts with your
child daily.
AR Testing: Congratulations to Merci Murray who also met the AR
points for 1st grade.
Happy Birthdays!!: Joshua Cleary celebrated his birthday Easter
Sunday, April 12th. Hope you had a wonderful day, Joshua. Colby Smith’s
birthday is Wednesday, April 22nd, Happy birthday to you!!!
