WEEKLY HOMEWORK SHEET
Please help your child make sure he/she has completed assigned homework for
each evening, Monday through Thursday. There will never be assigned
homework on Friday through Sunday. Homework is assigned to help children
develop good study habits that will carry on throughout their school years.
MONDAY: Read a book (can be a magazine, newspaper, internet material, etc.)
to or with someone for 10-15 minutes. Record on reading log. Drill sight
word cards for 3-5 minutes. Practice spelling words.
TUESDAY: Read 10-15 minutes and record on reading log. Complete phonics,
math, or handwriting assignment found in pocket of folder. Drill sight word
cards for 3-5 minutes. Write spelling words two times each on paper provided
in pocket of folder
WEDNESDAY: Read 10-15 minutes and record on reading log. Drill sight word
cards for 3-5 minutes. Write spelling words three times each on paper
provided in pocket of folder.
THURSDAY: Read 10-15 minutes and record on reading log. Complete phonics,
math, or handwriting assignment found in pocket of folder. Drill sight word
cards for 3-5 minutes. Write spelling words three times each on paper
provided in pocket of folder.
