Composition I
No NEO Comp I this week BUT you must turn in your final narrative by THIS Wednesday AND a free write describing a place to visit. Read around draft of descriptive due Oct. 11 or 12th. No pronoun quiz this week, but will take it next week.

The weekly quick write prompt will be given at the beginning of the class and cannot be made up if student is absent. Instructor may give quick write prompts early if prior arrangements are made. Quick writes must be at least one half page in length. Each week there will also be a grammar/usage quiz. Cell phone use is prohibited during class time—including texting! If asked to put his/her phone away a student will be penalized one letter grade in the class. In the event of inclement weather or any other reason to cancel class the instructor will contact you through the website so be sure you have registered online.
