What do I do if I have to be absent?

Make-up work is always the student's responsibility. If you know
that you are going to be absent, you will need to get the
assignment ahead of time from Mrs. Sooter. If you do not know
ahead of time, you can find the missed assignment on the
assignment board in the classroom or in the homework section
of this website. If a handout was given, there will be a copy
with your name on it in the make-up work folder. It is your
responsibility to do the make-up work and turn it into the class
basket. You have one day for everyday of school missed to get it
turned in. After that time period the late work policy will
apply. Don't forget to also copy any notes that were
missed.

What is the late work policy?

Assignments are considered late after 3:00 p.m. on the day the
class turns them in. Students who attend after school tutoring
may turn them in for full credit at the end of the tutoring
session (4:00 p.m). Student can receive 50% of their homework
score if it is turned in before the test for that chapter is
taken.

How do I get extra help?

Mrs. Sooter will be tutoring after school on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If for some reason she is not
available on a particular day, the after school program always
has a math teacher available to tutor.
