This is my fourth year at Yukon High teaching Marketing, Sports and
Entertainment Marketing, and Business Management. Before coming to the High
school, I spent 6 years at Surrey Hills Elementary running the
computer lab. I am an entrepreneur at heart, owning my own business for 7
years and working in the retail world for over 10 years. I feel that my
business experiences help bring the classroom curriculumn to life.
To help students learn valuable lessons that will enrich their work
experience. Each student will someday be working in the "real world" and I
hope that the knowledge they gain from my classes will give them that added
boost to get that better job or that promotion that they are striving for.
By participating in DECA and the many opportunities our club offers, I know
that students will be exposed to leadership development skills, social
skills, and an awareness of community involement.
