How much are tests worth?
In Algebra 1, chapter tests are worth 40% of the grade and nine weeks tests
are worth 20%.
In Pre-AP Geometry, chapter tests are worth 50% of the grade and nine weeks
tests are worth 20%.

Can I make up a missing assignment?
If you are absent and miss an assignment, you have as many days to make it up
as you were absent.
If you were present and did not do the assignment, you must meet me before or
after school for two days and do the missed assignment PLUS an extra
assignment to receive the credit for that zero. This must be done before the
test covering that assignment's material.

When can I come in for extra help?
I am available 1st hour and 7th hour daily, with few exceptions. If these
times do not work for you, you must discuss this with me and we can find an
alternate time.

What is Bellwork?
Bellwork includes review problems, vocabulary or questions that the students
do the first five minutes of class (after the bell.) It could be one
question or five, depending on the length and difficulty. It is a daily
grade each week that is taken up on Friday. If the student does not do
Bellwork, they can not make that zero up. If they are absent on a day, they
just write "absent" for that day and are not penalized.
