Students who have applied to U of Toronto, York and Windsor - this is a reminder that applications for specific scholarships within these institutions are due by January 31st and February 1st respectively.
Ambassadors for Open House
Myer's Open House will be held on Thursday January 14, 2010. This year we will be hosting our feeder school Grade 8's in addition to interested students from NDSS. Lots of ambassadors are needed for this evening. Please sign up in Guidance.
Take Care of your Future
The Niagara Health System is once again looking for students interested in a career in the health care sector to participate in a unique experience at Welland's hospital site this March break.
This is a week-long program that runsMarch 15th to 19th and gives students an opportunity to learn about the various health care occupations available in the Niagara Region through hands on activities, tours, workshops and more. Students will also have the chance to work closely with local health care professionals and observe them in a real, clinical setting.
The program is open to students in Grades 11 or 12 who meet eligible criteria. Deadline for applications is fast approaching. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Friday, January 22, 2010. Complete information details and applications forms can be found at http://www.niagaraworkforceboard.ca/care/
