Post-Secondary Day: Sign-Up
Getting Started>>Go to www.cawthrapark.com
Click on 'Click Here To Register'.
Using the navigation bar on the left, click 'Login'.
1. Click in the Student ID field and type your student number. Press TAB.
2. Your password is your birth date. Type it using the ''yymmdd' format
(e.g. January 24th, 1992 =
9210124).
3. Click the Login button below the two fields you've just completed.
Changing Your Default Password
1. If this is your first time using the on-student profile, you'll be
prompted to change your password.
This step is mandatory.
2. Click in the 'Enter Old Password' field and type your password (i.e. your
birth date: yymmdd).
Press TAB.
3. Type your new password (choose something that you will remember). This
new password cannot
be the same as the previous one. Press TAB.
4. Type your new password again -- the one that you typed in the previous
step -- to confirm that it has
been entered correctly.
5. Click 'Submit'.
How To Register
1. Another screen should pop up to show your diploma status. This screen
displays the requirements for
the OSS diploma, the courses you have completed, and those you are
registered in this year. From the
diploma status screen, you should be given several options to choose
from. Please click on 'Post-
Secondary Day'.
2. On the Post-Secondary Day screen, you will see 3 different session time
slots. For each time slot,
click in the box to the right and a drop-down window will appear,
showing you all of the available
institutions (apprenticeship, armed forces, colleges, universities) for
that time slot.
3. For the first time slot, scroll through the drop-down window until you
find your first choice institution
and click on it. If a message pops up saying that the session is full,
re-select until your first time slot
is accepted.
4. Continue choosing institutions until you have had one accepted for each
time slot (total of 3).
5. When you have finished, click on 'Submit'.
6. Don't forget to logout.
7. If you want to change your choices, you will have until October 28th to
do so, by logging into the
system again and clicking on 'Post-Secondary Day'.
8. You will get a personalized timetable on the morning of November 4th in
the front foyer.

HOURS AND SCHEDULE
Each placement will determine the hours for their co op student. Generally,
the student should work Monday to Friday one week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
Friday the next week. Every other Wednesday the student is at school. The
working hours will vary, but expectations are 7 hours a day, 35 hours a long
week, and 28 hours a short week. Changes in work days and hours are flexible
and negotiable. (ie.Shifts / longer hours / weekends) Speak with teacher
