September 25 - Ecology Quiz, - ecology terms, - terms associated with ecology, e.g. producer, decomposer, consumer, food chains and food pyramids

October 8 - Ecology Unit test - Food chains and Food webs, carrying capacity, Carbon and water cycle, prey and preadatore relationships, graphing (supply and demand), Biomes- characteristics of the different biomes, being able to identify the different biomes, characteristics of soil, pesticides and bioaccumulation, photosynthesis and respiration - word equations for both processes and the relationship between the two.

October 21 - Periodic table quiz - know the symbols and correct spelling of the first 20 elements on the periodic table

October 29 - Patterns of the perodic table quiz - Review the 3 practice quizzes we have been doing in class. Know how to calculate the number of protons, electrons, neutrons, atomic mass, atomic number, the 4 main groups of elements, the bold stair case and be able to draw Bohr-Rutherford diagrams for the first 20 elements on the periodic table - remember 2-8-8-2

November 21 - Chemistry Unit test- Work through Review questions given in class.

December 4 - 5- bring materials to make blue box car - First testing will be on Monday December 8, you have one week to make changes, the final testing will be on December 15.

December 8 - First testing of blue box cars

Friday December 12 - Physics Quiz, - rounding, conversions, calculating speed, distance, and time, graphing

Monday December 15 - Final Testing of Blue Box Car

January -6 - Blue Box car final report due - Diagram of car, description of modifications, calculation of acceleration and average speed.

Wednesday January 7 - Physics Unit test - "Cheat Sheet" perimitted which has to be completed in class on the designated sheet of paper given in class.

Monday January 26 - Final Exam - Your "cheat sheet" is one-sided ONLY, due to me by 11:30 am on Monday January 26. They will be issued to you at the beginning of your exam. IT HAS TO BE ON THE YELLOW SHEET OF PAPER I GAVE OUT IN CLASS. You need to bring a calculator, ruler, pen and pencil to the exam. THERE WILL BE NO SHARING OF ANY EQUIPMENT.
