In February we will be finishing our look at Canada and its regions. The class will be assigned a project this week that will take us into the middle of February. After this project we will start our Unit on Medieval Times.
Project: due date Friday Feb. 15th. Students will have in class time to work on these projects. They may bring any materials from home that they may need to complete this project. They may also work on the project at home on the weekends or week nights if they wish. 1. Choose a physical region in Canada. Provide a map indicating the physical region. 2. Describe the characteristics of that region. 3. What natural resources come from the region? 4. Are there any major waterways or particular land forms in the region? What is their significance?
Medieval Times We have begun our unit and are looking at many aspects of life during this time. We have started a journal of things we have learned or questions that may come up. I have included in my Links page some interesting websites if you wish to take a look. Some are interactive and others are just informational sites. Enjoy!!
Mini-recherche Students have a mini research project to do in class. I have asked them to look of some information at home so they can work on their projects in class. This mini research project is due Friday May 23. |
