I am entering my 13th year of teaching and really enjoy teaching French.
I've been at Father Henri Nouwen for 8 years (in between 2 children) and am
looking forward to my ninth. If you have any questions or concerns, please
do not hesitate to call me at the school. I am happy to answer any
questions that you may have. Parents, please stop by and say hello during
curriculum night or any time you are in the school. Thank you and I look

To have a fun learning environment, that's the key! Most students hate
French---I know that. So how are you supposed to teach kids that hate
something? Well, the key is to make it fun and to help them to treat French
as they do any other subject. Some kids don't like math---but that doesn't
mean that they don't have to do it or try to be successful at it. So I try
to incorporate a little bit of everything--grammar activities, games, tests,
songs--everthing they need to help them learn what they need to, so that
they are successful the following year. But I need help from the students.
You need to keep an open mind and have fun with me and do your work. It's
the only good combination that will help us to have a great year together!
