The Y factor is instrumental to the Academy’s success

The Academy is always looking for people to plug into the equation:

parents, grandparents, alumni, church members,

retired teachers, aspiring teachers, servant hearts, etc.

Examples of Y factor opportunities at KCA:

• Classrooms -T/A type roles, supervision, help with marking
• Computer Lab supervision
• Playground Supervision-before or after school, lunches, recess
• Sports-coaching, assistants
• Intramurals, clubs
• Concerts and drama productions
• Office/Administration assistance
• Parent work bees
• Repairs/maintenance/cleaning
• Special projects- (past examples: stage/set construction; playground install)
• Professional/career visits
• Driving/field trips
• Pizza Days

Coaches and assistants needed for school teams and intramurals

Many opportunities throughout the year in a variety of sports.

Soccer is the most pressing need early in September.
