Keep a poem in your pocket
And a picture in your head
And you'll never feel lonely
At night when you're in bed.
The little poem will sing to you
The little picture bring to you
A dozen dreams to dance to you
At night when you're in bed
So...
Keep a poem in your pocket
And a picture in your head
And you'll never feel lonely
At night when you're in bed.

September
We join together as classmates
As the next year begins...
A year full of learning
While we become friends.
We'll share and be kind
As we work and play.

Snowflakes, snowflakes all around,
Gently falling to the ground.
Snowflakes, snowflakes in the air,
On my nose and in my hair.
Snowflakes, snowflakes all around,
Gently falling to the ground.
February
To show you like your special friend,
Just give them each a heart,
H-E-A-R-T,
H-E-A-R-T,
H-E-A-R-T
Each heart says I like you.
March
March (Tune: Old MacDonald)
In the Spring there is a month
M-A-R-C-H
And in that month we have some fun,
M-A-R-C-H
With a Shamrock here...
And a leprechaun there...
Here a M, there a A
Everywhere a R-C-H
In the spring there is a month
M-A-R-C-H.
I'm a Little Leprechaun (Tune: I'm a little teapot)
Im a little leprechaun dressed in green
The tiniest man that you've ever seen.
If you catch me so it's told,
I'll give you my pot of gold!
The March wind roars
Like a lion in the sky
And makes us shiver
As he passes by
When winds are soft
And the days are warm and clear
Just like a gentle lamb
Then Spring is here!

April
Good-bye Snow! Good-bye Ice!
Though of course you're very nice,
I am glad you've gone away
Leaving us this fine spring day!
May
A little seed
For me to sow...
A little earth
To make it grow...
A little hole
A little pat
A little wish
And that is that.
A little sun
A little shower
A little while
And then - a flower!

June
The Fuzzy Caterpillar
The Fuzzy Caterpillar,
Crawled upon a leaf.
Spun her little chrysalis,
And then fell fast asleep.
While she was sleeping,
She dreamed that she could fly.
And later when she woke up,
She was a butterfly!
