What is the role of the Teacher/Youth Minister?

The Teacher/Youth Minister Position is new this year!  This position was 
created to strengthen the link between home, school and parish.  The 
Teacher/Youth Minister's job is to work with school and parish staff, 
students and parents to provide faith development and youth ministry to 
young people in our schools and parish.  This is done through a variety of 
liturgical celebrations, programs, presentations, projects and special 
initiatives for youth in our community.  The Teacher/Youth Minister works 
with students and staff at both Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima 
Schools.  He is also part of the administrative team at Our Lady of Fatima 
Parish, and has an office at the church.

How can I become more involved in my parish and my school?

There are many ways to get involved in faith-related activities in your 
parish and school.  Activities range from taking on roles in special 
celebrations as readers, choir members, greeters and altar servers 
to participating in Youth Group to helping out with special projects and 
activities that promote faith and outreach, social justice and community 
spirit.  For more information about getting involved with Youth Ministry and 
Faith Development in the parish or schools, please contact Mr. Frolick at 
the 
schools or church.

When does the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Youth Group meet?

Our Youth Group meets every Monday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. either in the 
church hall or in the libary at Our Lady of Fatima School.  Gym nights are 
always on the last Monday of the month at Our Lady of Lourdes School ... 
same time.  So, come out and join us for fun, friendship and faith-filled 
activities.  All are welcome!!!

When are choir practices held at Our Lady of Lourdes School?

Choir practices at Our Lady of Lourdes School are held every Tuesday in the 
Music Room from 12:15-12:45 p.m.  Attendance and commitment are very 
important.
