The season of Advent is here. We are collecting coats, clothes and gently
used toys to help those in need in our community.
Welcome to Miss Gubbels. Miss Gubbels is a student teacher from Althouse
College and will be with us until December 17.
Both Grade 6 and 7 are beginning units on 2-D motion geometry. We are
working hard on our Christmas production.
We are finishing up our reading strategy of making Connections and will begin
our letter writing unit before Christmas.
We will be starting our first unit in health and are currently learning about
the season of Advent and the liturgical year. Our class will be responsible
for preparing the Week 3 Advent liturgy on December 10, 2010
We will be helping out Learning buddies build gingerbread houses on December
15th. If you are able to contribute any items for our project, they would be
greatly appreciated.
